Emily Wilson, AIA LEED, is an accomplished educator, architect, and curriculum designer. With over 25 years of experience in design, service, and education, Wilson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. She is a licensed architect and LEED-accredited professional, holding two master's degrees. Wilson possesses an extensive background in the fields of design, education, and service, spanning over 25 years.
For seven years, Wilson has successfully managed two prestigious architecture programs at the high school level. These programs focused on curriculum implementation and teaching at the Dalton School in New York City and at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami. Additionally, Wilson has served on the AIA K12 education committee, developed the ICAA New Heights for the Florida chapter, authored competition prompts for the ICAA and the Florida State Fair, and organizes lectures, exhibitions, and events for teenagers.
Wilson's achievements include assisting over 1000 students in obtaining awards, scholarships, and acceptance into prestigious colleges and design internships. Her expertise in curriculum development, online content production, and teaching students in an online environment sets her apart as an innovative educator. Wilson's teaching and curriculum development encompass various aspects of architecture, including architectural history, portfolio development, urban and industrial design, and traditional studio practice.
In continuation of her service, Wilson directs a charity Discover Architecture.org dedicated to promoting K12 architecture education and providing online content and resources for students interested in architecture and design.
